Adapta designed and delivered a fully custom portable DACS system, meeting a customer’s need for a single, flexible platform to support a wide range of factory verification tests. The system combines proven COTS hardware with smart packaging and modular design for easy deployment and rapid test integration.

  • COTS DAQ Core – Built around an NI cDAQ chassis with Ethernet connectivity for robust, reliable data acquisition.

  • Modular Interface Panels – Custom front panels for rapid connection to most NI C Series modules. Panel Designs Included 16CH, 8CH, thermocouple, and BNC connector panels. Custom panels designed, cut, and assembled in under a week.

  • Rack-Ready Packaging – 19" rack format supports mobile rack cases, floor racks, and NEMA 4 outdoor rack enclosures.

  • UPS Backup – Integrated power backup to prevent data loss during facility outages.

  • Field-Wirable Connectors – Screw terminals allow easy field-harness integration — no soldering or heat guns needed.

  • Effective harness shielding – Every connector includes dedicated shielding drain pins for improved EMI immunity.

  • DIN Rail Power Distribution – Terminal blocks with LED fuse indicators make power distribution simple and safe—fuses swap out in minutes.

  • Power Isolation & Indication – Panel-mounted switches and LED indicators let operators isolate power with clear visual feedback.
